Product Description

Our Rectangle Concrete Dining Table with the Baltic Base is a modern statement piece that balances strength and elegance. The Baltic Base is crafted from steel with a distinctive cross-frame design — clean, architectural lines that provide both stability and a striking sculptural form. Paired with our handcrafted concrete table top, this combination of concrete and steel creates a timeless aesthetic that not only looks seamless but also delivers long-lasting beauty.

Lead Time, Process & Production

Lead Time

Our standard lead time is 3–7 weeks from the date of order to dispatch. This timeframe allows for careful scheduling, production, and finishing of your custom-made Concrete Dining Table. Our Concrete Dining Tables with the Baltic Base are closer to 5-7 weeks for dispatch.

Need it by a particular date? Simply communicate this with us at the time of Ordering so we can aim to meet this deadline or advise you if it is not possible.

Our Process

Each piece goes through several detailed stages: formwork, casting, curing, processing, and sealing. This production process typically takes 7–10 days per piece. After your Concrete Dining Table is completed, we will conduct a test-fit in our Showroom and at this time aim to send you a couple of completed photos prior to dispatch.

Production

Once we receive your Order, we will add your project to our casting pipeline and get everything underway.

FAQs

Are your concrete tables porous?

The most commonly asked question! Have you seen our Care Guide? Our Concrete Dining Tables are sealed with a high-quality sealer acting as a protective barrier designed to resist most spills (including coffee and red wine!) and daily use. While the surface is well protected, it is still a natural material so it does need some care. Check out our Care Guide but just reach out if you have any other questions around performance or care. We can confidently say our products will out perform imported “concrete” tables, if you are comparing our product to those from larger companies, we will perform better.

Will my table stain if I spill red wine or coffee?

No need to panic! Our sealers protect against everyday spills like coffee, wine, and food. Simply wipe the surface after use to prevent liquids from sitting too long. We just want to avoid those staining agents sitting on there for too long or becoming trapped between an object and the table top.

Do your concrete tables crack?

Hairline variations may naturally occur in concrete over time, but our tables are reinforced and professionally made to prevent structural cracking. If something were to crack, this happens quickly after casting, not in a couple of weeks or years, it happens before it leaves our workshop and the item is remade. Perhaps if they are not handled correctly or supported correctly when moving or lifting, this could occur (it’s to be handled like a sheet of glass). We provide a structural warranty for our tables too!

Are your concrete tables heavy?

Yes and no! Whilst they are heavy because they are concrete, the concrete we specialise in is a light weight concrete. Our 60mm thick table tops are hollow on the underside which assists with weight, also our concrete table bases are hollow. Product weights are listed above.

How do I clean my concrete dining table?

Simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap or dish liquid. Avoid using any strong or harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the sealer overtime. Avoid forceful scrubbing too, just wipe it over.

Do I need to reseal my table?

No! Once they are sealed by us, they don’t require future sealing.

Can I place hot pots and pans directly on the table?

We recommend using trivets or heat pads to protect the surface. While the sealer provides protection, extreme heat can leave marks or warp the sealer.

How many people will my table seat?

Have you seen our
Seating Guide? If you're still unsure, just reach out to us!

I can’t find a spec sheet for the size I want — why?

Because we offer so many variations in design and size, we don’t have a spec sheet for every single option. Most of the details you’ll need can be found under the “Specifications” section above. Still missing something? Just get in touch with us — we’re happy to help!

The size I need isn’t listed here — can you make custom table top sizes?

Yes, we can! The size of the top is usually only restricted by the base design. We can often go longer or wider if needed — we just need to make sure the base you like will support the top size you’re after. Simply email us with your preferred top size and base style you like, and we’ll let you know if it’s possible.

I have kids and I’m worried about them with a concrete table — how hardy is it?

This is one of our most common questions! If you’re worried about kids spilling food or drinks — don’t be. Just like we mention in our Care Guide, you have plenty of time to wipe things up, so mealtimes won’t be stressful.

For kids specifically, here are some handy tips:

  • Stick to washable markers and washable paints for craft time at the table.
  • Avoid strong food dyes (like decorating cupcakes or making homemade playdough)
  • Keep an eye on the red cordial — or just be ready with a cloth if it spills.
  • Be mindful of heavy or sharp toys that might scratch the surface (though we’ve never had a report of a child actually damaging one of our tables!).

With a little mindfulness, concrete tables are perfectly family-friendly.

I live in an apartment with a lift — how do you get the table into place?

Let’s chat before you order. We’ll go through the lift size and access details to make sure delivery and assembly runs smoothly. Our White Glove Delivery team will handle the heavy lifting — we just need to confirm the logistics in advance.

Are the tables suitable for outdoors? Do they need to be undercover?

Firstly - yes our tables are perfect for outdoor use and no they don’t need to be undercover. They can be fully exposed to the elements. As we mention in our Care Guide, the only thing we don’t recommend is covering them with a table cover when not in use, as this can trap unwanted moisture. It’s best to leave them uncovered and bare when you’re not dining. For cleaning, you can simply hose your table down or give it a wipe over when it looks a little dusty or dirty.

I live by the beach and we’re surrounded by salty air — how does the concrete hold up?

That’s totally fine, our concrete tables are a great solution for coastal environments. The high-quality sealers we use protect the concrete, making it well-suited to areas with salty air. We’d just suggest one of our designs with a concrete base rather than steel.
